As Zofia Przeździak underlined on Polskie Radio 24, Henryka Obermiller often visited the Ghetto. “My mother was helping Michał Frydman’s family financially and she was bringing them food” - said the guest of PR24. “When they were preparing to liquidate the Ghetto, the [Michał’s] grandfather asked my mother to walk the child out” - said Zofia Przeździak.
“My mother decided to help. One day she went to the Ghetto; the entrance was in the Leszno Street. She went there and she simply walked him [Michał] out. When she was leaving, the guards asked her: “Who is this?” She said: “It’ss my son.” She brought him home and after some time she was going to walk his mother out from the Ghetto as well.” – said Zofia Przeździak on Polish Radio 24, mentioning also that due to the guards’ increased vigilance, Henryka Obermiller did not manage to take Michał Frydman’s mother out of the Warsaw Ghetto.
